One of my favorite brookie streams gave up this weird colored bled out tiger trout. The fins were almost transparent. The other side of the tiger had some more obvious marking of a tiger trout.

I am checking to find out what this nasty looking thing is.

Anyone have a clue what this thing is?

Checking in with a PhD in parasitic organisms from University of Wisconsin La Crosse and will get back to you on it.

I can ask my Icthyology professor on tuesday if you dont find out before then, he specialized in Salmonids. Bled out sounds lamprey like, have you found any other trout dead in a similar fashion on the same stretch of water?
