I fished Wisconsin this morning from 7-10. It was dang near freezing for a while, my islets were icing up a bit. Once the sun got over the treeline fish started getting active. Interesting today I only got one on a spinner.
The rest were caught on Berkely trout worms, #8 hook, and a split shot. Aside from brookies I caught chubs and shiners too. Interesting combination huh? Yet I did not catch a single brown.
Great blue heron creek. When I see this I know I’m in good water. Blue herons know where the fish are at.
