I was able to hit the streams this last day of March. The water condition was perfect with it being slightly stained. After entering the stream around 3:00pm I was able to catch a couple of trout around 12 inches on a Rapala almost immediately. I had several other trout swirl without hitting. I switched to a Silver Super Bow spinner and immediately started catching more and bigger fish. It seemed the trout were scattered everywhere, some in the riffles but alot of them were also holding near the back ends of alot of the pools. Fish size ranged from around 10 inches up to a beautiful 19 inch brown. It was good to see alot of those 14 to 16 inch fish. It’s the first time this year that I’ve gotten into any numbers of that size of fish. Has anyone else been out lately?
