    James,
Are you going to trademark that slide you made when you caught your first fish? woot

43 years old and I still got some wheels! As for the slide…I turned a potential pile up into a 3 foot power slide that culminated with a successful hookset. Even the 25 year old camera guy gave me a thumbs up for that one. grin

Thanks Troutbum. Any time we get to fish in a location as special as Henry’s Lake the production team goes into overdrive trying to find a way to capture the awesomeness of the experience. Pat McSharry and Alex Anderson did an amazing job on this trip.

Hey guys, loved the episode. Grew up fishing Henry’s, thought I would share a picture of one of those ten plus pound trout James mentioned on the episode. Keep up the good work, love each show.

Those hybrids are crazy-cool fish. I would imagine, given their rainbow DNA, they’re spectacular jumpers in open water?

Sometimes, From my experience it seems like the Cuts genetics shine through when they are hooked up. A couple of headshakes and then less dramatic fighting. The one in my picture fought less than a few 18″ fish I caught that day. Still a rush when you pull a pig like that up, especially through an ice hole.
