On another note, I listened to the family press conference yesterday thinking it was going to be the same ol, same old.

When Julia Jackson took the mic she hesitated. Then her talk should of resonated with everyone listening. I was set back and amazed. There is a person that’s not thinking about money, black/white or herself. She truly wants the UNITED States to be UNITED again.

Then the lawyers took over and back to the same ol same old.

I found it odd that I didn’t feel anything for the dad even though he was balling his eyes out, but Julia on the other hand, who might not have had a tear in her eye, stole my heart.

Don’t break the laws, obey the police, you go home or are at least alive. Don’t want to get hurt or killed at a protest? Don’t go. Media in my opinion has a big responsibility reporting these events and why they continue and go south. Until there are consequences? nothing will change.

I don’t understand why the “shoot the thugs” people aren’t immediately heading to Kenosha to put their money where their mouth is. The people there trying to protect their homes and businesses from being burned to the ground could use some help.

I’m sure the number of religious people who feel this way are in line with the same percentage of military personnel that have served in combat. No hard to seek out bible verses that would support either side of the argument. The difference would be if you were seeking the opportunity. If so, then it’s murder and you are no different. But if a “rioter” started spitting lead into my house, I can assure you I would stop the threat

Should the folks doing all this so-called rioting even be considered as rioters? Seems to me it’s more like domestic terrorism and should be handled by the government (FBI) as such.

And my thoughts are not racist…. there’s more young useless white males burning and destroying stuff, here at least. The situation is like an excuse to destroy. I’d like to see unmarked vans grabbing them off the street as fast as possible.

That would mean they want to change. Also, they’d have a job and that’s not what they want.

This dispatch account seems to dispute the story that he was supposedly “just trying to break up a fight” He also had an open warrant for a domestic dispute and sexual assault from May. Also a past of brandishing a firearm at people in a separate incident.

5:11 p.m.
Officers are sent to Blake’s address for a complaint of “family trouble.” A dispatcher notifies officers that a woman called police and said Blake “isn’t supposed to be there and he took the complainant’s keys and is refusing to give them back.”

The dispatcher tells officers that there’s an alert for a person wanted for some reason, known in police radio code as a 10-99, at that address. Blake had a warrant issued for his arrest stemming from a domestic case in May.

An officer tells the dispatcher he is close but has not yet arrived at the call.

5:13:47 p.m.
One of the officers assigned to the call asks dispatchers for a description of Blake. The dispatcher tells officers that the woman now says Blake is trying to leave. The dispatcher tries to get a description of Blake’s vehicle but she tells officers that the woman has become uncooperative, and the type of vehicle or what state it’s registered in are unknown.

The officer replies that he has arrived at the address.

5:14:28 p.m.
A second officer arrives at the scene.

5:15:37 p.m.
A third officer urgently radios dispatchers asking for more officers. The dispatcher sends three more squads.

Around this time, a bystander shoots a video that shows Blake and two officers scuffling on the ground on the passenger side of a small gray SUV.

Less than two minutes have passed since the first officer arrived.

A different video, this one shot by a neighbor in a second-story apartment across the street, shows this scene from the driver’s side: Three officers, two male and one female, have their guns drawn and are behind Blake as he walks from the sidewalk around the front of the SUV.
