Like someone said, do not be afraid to ask for a spot-EVERYONE here has been handed a spot (but my deal is different, it was My cousin blah, blah blah,) And yes like me you have tried lakes with zero intel. This is a community site ask away-you can ask me for a gold bar and I will say; ‘no’ with no hate.

I caught a few on Tonka today. Not very many. The water is only 41 degrees on the main lake. I found 46 in the bays. The biggest crappie was a 12.5 incher my friend caught. I think some warmer temps would help.

A boat nearby piled into an enormous carp. They said it weighed 25.5 pounds. Probably the biggest carp I’ve ever seen in person.

We were on the west side and caught a few, maybe should have went east. wind was brutal.
The snow pretty much reset all the water temps back to 33. Not a bad thing to slow things down.
