Just wondering if anyone has experience with the Trophy 175 and what their opinions are?

I have a 2012 175 and love it, it has the 115hp pushes it 37mph kinda wish I went 140-150hp But it works if I fish alone or with my family, kids love the flip up back seats. What are your concerns?

I don’t have many concerns just want to see how everyone likes them. Does it handle big water well?

About as good as any 17′ Aluminum boat can. I upgraded from a 17′ Smoker Craft Pro Angler and it is a world of difference.

What motor do you have on yours? I like the thought of the high sides for the little one.

I had a 150 E-tec on mine,_(8 HP KICKER) got around 55mph. that boat handle great, only reason I sold it was I found myself fishing the same river/lake nearest to my house, and it gets pretty shallow at times. You will love that boat. Still wish I had kept it, but my new escape is a great river runner.

How did you like the etec? I had one and had tons of problems with mine.

Trophy models are great for big water fishing/trolling. They do act like a kite with those high sides when trying to stay vertical over fish on windy days.
