2017 with VMAX. A must is the power assist option (not advertised at time of purchase). otherwise I’m getting 56-58mph. What’s awesome about this combo is the hole shot. This thing literally “jumps” up on plane (better be hanging on). you may be stuck with the Evinrude G2 with the recent BRP purchase though.
I’m “assuming” you have the Seastar hydraulic steering like me (standard with the 250 SHO). Seastar offers a power assist that basically eliminates ANY steering feedback (like power steering in your car). the kit runs about $1800 + installation. If Cabelas would’ve mentioned it when I purchased the boat I would have added it in (what’s $2k additional to $50k when ordering the boat).
