Trollmaster Pro2

Have any of you installed a Tollmaster Pro2 on your Yamaha t9.9? I have one that will be into today, and I have been looking for an install video for the Yamaha T9.9 and haven’t been able to find one. I had one on another boat, but I did not install it. Thing worked like a charm. Just wondering what I am getting my self into. I have watched the other videos on line and it doesn’t look to tough. If anyone has a link to a Yamaha install, and could share it, I would appreciate that.

I put one on about a month ago and couldn’t find a good video for it. I watched the example install video on their website (which is I believe on an Evinrude, definitely not a yamaha but it at least explains how it works) and then just followed the printed directions- took a few hours and the most time consuming part for me was running, securing, and hiding the wires nicely. The only thing I would do differently would be to try not bend the push rod first- it tends to flex a lot at the bend then and does limit the upper throttle range of the trollmaster because of the flex.

As of last fall, Troll Master had not designed an updated connecting rod (from servo) for the new T9.9. I had to build my own – was pretty easy. Tried to use the old version of that rod and it just would not work as the angles are tighter than they used to be and the rod kept on bending. I combined 3 of those rods together and heat shrinked them together to make them stronger – this worked and is working quite well.
