TROLLING WING DAMS WITH A WHEEL BOAT

    looking at buying a new voyager with wtw ,I want to be able to troll wing dams , anyone had any issues with doing this? hoping to not have to use a kicker

    Much easier with a tiller. Response time with a tiller is way quicker to recover. Wheel is slow in my opinion. Sure you can troll Wingdam with a wheel boat but the tiller is much better.

    I dont know how to fish a wing damn so take that into account when reading my question…what do you mean by troll a wing damn? Over it? Around it? Along it? Under it? Please explain

    trolling cranks in front of the wing dam trying to stay in the troft that runs from one end to the other in front of it
