Trolling Rods

Picked up a couple 12″ Headlocks to add to my trolling arsenal. I have two 8.5ft Fenwick Heavy action 2 piece trolling rods. Are these rods capable of handling these large baits? Do I need stouter rods to handle these lures at trolling speed??

I am not familiar with those Fenwick rods. But can tell you the Headlocks move a lot of water and pull hard. So hard that I don’t trust my rod holders. I set my rod on my lap and hook the handle under my knee.
