Does any use a troll plate on their 150HP to get speed low enough to troll? If so, what brand do you use? Is it worth it until I save up for a kicker one day?

Not knowing what the boat is, and if you have a 2 or 4 stroke, it will be hard to give sound advise on the troll plate. I do know that a drift sock will work or even a 5 gallon bucket to slow you down. May want to rill some holes in the bottom of a bucket however until the kicker motor is in the works.
