Troll Master and T-8 Yamaha

    I’m looking at installing a Troll Master on my T-8 tiller.

    Can IDO members post me some pictures on where you ran the servo power cable into your motor?

    Rubber boot on the port side of the motor.

    Make sure none of your servo wires run near any spark plug wires or ignition coil/CDI box.
    Figured this out the hard way after a buddy did his own install and it was very erratic, changing its own speed randomly. The servo wires were picking up stray high voltage current via induction.

    I do plan on doing the install myself so any help is much appreciated.
    that’s also why I wanted to see some pictures of where to go into the motor.

    I had enough space on mine to run it in with one of the other cables; I believe it was the lower RH side in the picture superdave posted.
