what difference does it make what my reasons are? Would anyone on here care or change their mind? This is Trump country here.

I hate Trump because hes a terrible example of a human being. hes a womanizer, he pays woman to be quite after he sleeps with them, hes a liar, hes a cheater, hes a conman, hes a draft dodger, hes a cry baby when he doesnt get his way, hes a bully, hes a rich guy who has used his power to abuse people all his life. I hate the example he sets for both children and adults. I hate seeing grown men walking around with middle fingers on their shirts and signs saying Fu*k your feelings. Hes made being an a**hole acceptable and popular. He continues to actively inflame people in our government and country to separate rather than unify. Hell Majorie Taylor has a tweet right now asking if we should separate into different countries. A senator! I could go on and on about how despicable he is but ive said enough

I understand that before Trump came along a lot of you felt like people in Washington didnt listen to you and they didnt represent you. Im glad that someone came along and accommodated. Im just sorry it was someone like Trump – A vile scumbag who encourages the worst to come out in everyone. Ive heard a lot of people say that they dont pay attention to what kind of person the president is but they only care about their policies. And maybe thats a good approach to take but its not mine. My life hasnt changed all that much regardless of who has been in office. America has changed drastically in a cultural way since Trump came to power and the culture of Trumpism disgusts me

Thanks for taking the time to type that out. I too agree with you and those are my some of my reasons for not liking him as a person. Those I agree with, as I think there is alot to be said how the younger generation is seeing all of this unfold.

If it was strictly from a how the country is ran and the strength of the economy/affordability on most things for most folks, that was definitely better last year than current.

Crappie I also applaud you for sharing you feelings and I also do not care for the person he is, but agree with a lot of his policies and respect what he accomplished. I think a president should not have social media and that is the one area he looked like a toddler and none of us could disagree with that. Much respect for answering the question.

To this current admin I think we are all screwed.

I agree with all of this. To think that people who support trump condone ALL of his actions is ridiculous. Politicians in general are primarily despicable human beings. Some of the things Trump said, did and the whole social media thing was a complete disaster and I hated every second of it.
Along with that though he brought a lot of good. Its too bad all the mean tweets and crap like that overshadowed what he did for this country to stabilize relations with North Korea, energy independence, trade relations with China while it may have driven prices up some it certainly was the right move to make. Now its a complete crapshow. We are now prisoners to OPEC and oil supply driving up pricing. We have entities sabotaging our infrastructure grids to interrupt supply chains in fuel and food related sectors, the Southern border is an absolute mess and no plan in sight.
Joe cannot even answer non scripted questions during press conferences and the media is just enamored by him excited to find out what flavor ice cream he got and why he didnt get sprinkles. Trump never got any softballs ever.

I said it before and I’ll say it again. Biden did not win the election, Trump lost the election. Until we can get to a point where people vote for the person or party that is the best for the country overall, rather than down party lines or for those that benefit themselves the most, This county is and is going to be in trouble. I hate to say it but the system that was put in place in 1776 is no longer working in 2021.

I’ve noticed all my neighbors that supported biden have now taken there flags and signs down. Probably out of embarrassment for supporting that guy. Must be tough to still be proud.

Isn’t that what most normal people, a certain recent cult excepted, have always done when an election is over?

I hope that I’m not the only one who’s excited to make a quick run up to LOW this winter or buy premium gas near the Ash River for $4.50+ per gallon on a snowmobile trip.
That just makes garage parties at home that much more enjoyable.

Another lib who can’t name one positive thing the president they voted for has done for this country. The question always gets directed back at trump. Never fails.

The list of bad things he has done is a long one.

I was answering the questions posed by bearcat and browndog, which was why do I hate trump so much. If you would read back further you would also see I dislike biden and never ever claimed he has done one good thing for this country.

I realize your obsession with bashing liberals is strong and you have little restrain, but in this case you’re attacking me for things I don’t represent. I’m sure it doesn’t matter to you one way or another

Sounds like the women I know.

They care more about ‘likeability’ versus someone that can actually do the job.

    Doesn’t matter if it’s a waitress, realtor, politician…

We got stuck with a realtor that didn’t know his head from his ass just because she ‘liked’ them…

At least we have no more mean tweets..

I think this sums it up best. Even said that to my mom, vote for what the person stands for and what their agenda is, not whether they are a “child” or not. This is happening in every aspect of our lives. It is no longer about skill or experience but fueling the narrative. Trump lost his own election unfortunately. Even cheating Brandon should never have won. This idea the LEAST unifying group of dolts in the roundhouse ever. The sad thing is the damage will be done.

The current administration is not doing much to help. They also cannot be given 100% of fuel cost blame. I wish their policies were more consumer friendly and it pisses me off that they aren’t. I support energy independence and want the US to work for more leverage over global supplies by accessing more here responsibly. The current administration is taking more of a “it’s not our fault” approach while we wait and see just how crazy high things will go. That part is clearly wrong and they deserve heat for it.

However, we can’t cite 99 cent gasoline when the entire economy shut down and the world demand crashed as a target or even a positive that took place during the previous administration. If you think gas selling for 99 cents is a good thing and a sign of a healthy booming economy, you wouldn’t pass middle school economics nor did you pay any attention to what investments, retirement accounts, etc. did as they tanked.

    And then rebounded double before…..

    Let’s go Brandon

Heard that too and was wondering is this another crazy panic buy, and for what if it is. Or is it just like everything else a supply chain problem.

When one of the first things he did when he took office was inhibiting oil production, yes he does have control over it.

Got any evidence to back that up cuz all I could find was this. https://www.audubon.org/news/despite-pledge-ban-it-oil-and-gas-permitting-under-biden

And yet, the White House is on pace to hand out more oil and gas drilling permits this year than any under President Trump the most since George W. Bush left the Oval Office.

Did you not read your own link again Matt? “just days after taking office, he laid down a federal leasing moratorium, part of a set of sweeping executive orders on climate change”, it’s from the second sentence. Also, your quote is pretty obscure, “on pace” based on what metrics and time frame? And do leases equal increased production?

In addition to the 60 day lease moratorium Biden implemented, he also pulled the Keystone pipeline permit and re-entered the Paris Accord, all within one week of inauguration.

And yet permits are still up.

Also, your quote is pretty obscure, “on pace” based on what metrics and time frame? And do leases equal increased production?

The Interior Department approved about 2,500 permits to drill on public and tribal lands in the first six months of the year, according to an Associated Press analysis of government data. That includes more than 2,100 drilling approvals since Biden took office January 20.

But the steps taken by the administration to date on fossil fuels are more modest, including a temporary suspension on new oil and gas leases on federal lands that a judge blocked last month, blocked petroleum sales in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) and cancellation of the Keystone XL oil pipeline from Canada.

Because vast fossil fuel reserves already are under lease, those actions did nothing to slow drilling on public lands and waters that account for about a quarter of U.S. oil production.

This is a good article, too much to quote. The other one probably wasn’t a good choice to quote.

Look, I’m not defending the guy it’s just that people are making stuff up. This is great news for conservatives and terrible news for liberals. Criticize him, not me.
