Trim settles?

Early last fall I bought a new to me 2013 Lund 1825 pro guide with a 90 4s merc on it. Got her out a few times before hunting kicked in. I noticed that out of the hole and during loading up on the trailer that the trim seemed to settle on the motor. (Motor drops down)Didn’t do it during running across lake and trimming up for more speed only during heavy load. Any ideas?
    Thanks.

I’m less than an expert but it has to be a leak. Whether it be a valve or a piston seal, it has to be a leak. I just hope your cylinder isn’t scored.

    Sorry I can’t help further.

X2 on leak or low fluid.

Thats what i was figuring too. Any body change seals themselves or is that a job for a dealer?

Valve may not be closing on the pump ?

If the motor has a ‘manual lift’ screw for the motor (allows you to tilt the motor up/down with no battery) the screw may be slightly loose. I encountered similar symptoms and the screw was not quite snugged down – less than 1/8th of a turn is all it took.

^^^This is the fix most likely

Highly unlikely seal wear is the culprit in a motor this new. Check the manual release first.
