Since the board has been so slow for Nebraska, I thought I needed to get out and catch something so we have some activity. We have a cold front moving in tonight or tomorrow, so I thought I would try my luck today. A great day to be out. I am a very happy camper. Hope you enjoy. I know I will with a cold beer and some slaw.

    Nice job!!
It’s been killing me not being able to get out in this nice weather. I’ve been laid up with a bad back for several days now. Of course it happens during unbelievably nice weather when I have nothing to do.

Question for you Huskers: I’m looking at a job based in Omaha. How for do you have to travel to find some good walleye & panfish action?

    Thanks

Omaha is a great city. There is lot’s to do and plenty of outdoor oportunities. In fact Omaha has a Bass Pro Shops just across the river in Iowa, a Scheels, [censored], and Cabela’s as well as a few other small outdoor stores. Hunting and fishing opportunities are everywhere. There are several lakes within an hour of Omaha where you can catch plenty of panfish. To get into walleye one would have to travel a little farther for more consistant bites. Lewis and Clark Reservoir on the Missouri river is about a 2.5 hour drive from Omaha and is one of the top walleye fisheries in the state. Feel free to ask all the questions you want about Nebraska. You might want to start another post in the Nebraska Gen. disscussion forum.

Oh yeah, by the way, you’ll be required to become a HUSKER fan before the kickoff of the next college football season.
