    I disagree with that logic. You’re asking for a change. I’m asking for understanding and empathy. Both seem to be in short supply.

    “Pay for the sins. . .” is a common turn of phrase that doesn’t necessarily imply the actual exchange of money. I can see how that might be read literally, maybe it was a poor choice of words.
