Talked to a buddy today that lives there. Still had about 40 feet of ice from the launch

My nephew went buy there on Monday Feb 13 and the ice is right at the edge of the ramp docks. Should not be long now with this warmer weather and wind.

Chainsaw and some chisels waytogo Would not take much.Seen about 5 boats out, slid on the ice. They were fishing up in the scour hole area.I would be more worried about the pool ice coming down if the river went up.Still kinda thick.

With this weather this week my nephew and I may come down Saturday and bring down a chain saw and spuds to get her opened.

If the guy working on the sand across the road with the Payloader would just make a slight detour 5 minutes it would be ice free.

The south lane is now open, but this is the one that filled in with sand.Payloader deal sounds like a bet,or throw some sand on the ice and let the sun do it’s work.

That south ramp unless you have a small aluminum boat your not going to get out of there. Watched a little 14 flat and they barely made it out being it is so filled in.

There was quite a few that went out on Friday. Some larger boats did make it,with some troubles.Along with some extremely rude persons. One guy blocked an older guy from retrieving his boat,he decided to jack around for quite a long time.I have a tunnel jon,so 8″ of water is no problem.

And most of the boats went for the scour hole, afraid to fish shallow it seems.Eagles were happy!
