Tree stand Steps

Has anybody found a good deal recently on tree stand screw in steps? I’m thinking bulk, 75-100 pegs. I think the cheapest I could find them was about $1.85, which isn’t terrible by any means.

at $1.85 each, i don’t think that is too bad of a price. Typical retail i have been seeing in various dealers is the $1.99 to $2.15 each. On a 100, you may get 5 to 10% more off by asking, but 100 is a small qty compared to minimal orders from the factory. Smaller dealers getting them trough distributors are generally paying 10 to 15% more

We used to buy 10″ x 1/2″ lag bolts and just drive them in with the cordless. Back then, we were paying about 2/3 the cost of a tree step.

Menards has the screw in steps that I prefer. Very good step for going into hardwood trees. I believe the smaller ones are on sale for .99 right now and the big 5″ step is $1.49. I have had a very hard time finding those types of steps over the last few years other than menards.
