Anyone have experience with these?
My truck needs new tires and a couple guys at work have good things to say. They’re remolded tires, not re-treads. “Made” in the USA

Never heard of them. That is a crazy low price, I guess if they don’t blow out on the highway then might be worth the gamble. 40K is the low end of mileage warranty, but I tell people to try not to buy tires because of that, however it needs to be factored. If it was my truck I would not consider it, but as the kids say you do you.
Also I’ve been in the industry for a long time and never heard of the term remolded tires, maybe it’s an AG thing and new to automotive.
Deals are out there in the world, but you generally get what you pay for with just about anything.
If I am towing equipment or do a ton of traveling at highway speeds in an expensive truck, I’d pass. If this was for a beater bombing around the county, land, etc. then I’d probably be all in.

I purchased a set for an F150 and put on 15,000 miles before selling the truck so I’m not sure how long they lasted the next guy. I didn’t have any problems balancing and wear looked normal with regular rotations which I do when I change oil. The only reason I didn’t buy them on my current truck is they didn’t have the exact size I wanted for the lift I have. They don’t have as many size options. I could have purchased 3 sets for the price of my current tires.
Good friend of Mine has gone through 3 sets and has been happy with all 3.

Gotcha, I didn’t realize they allowed that on passenger vehicles.
The are not a re-tread (where a new tread is “glued” on), they mold on new tread to a recycled tire instead, similar to how new tires are made.
They use Toyo, Nitro and Bridgestone tires to start with.
I’ve never had them before, but it seems like a cool idea with a really nice price tag.
Basically the same thing. But like I said my buddy has gone through 3 sets and said they will be his next again

Buddy had some on his hunting truck . No issues in the 5 years he had it . Didn’t see 10,000 miles though

No, but your ordering them off the internet and they do not have a service center. What are you going to do if you have a defective tire? Pay to have someone pull it off and mail it back to them and wait for a replacement and have to pay again for mounting and balancing? Makes me worry. That’s all

I just put a set of six Lionhart 235/85r16 E All Season on my dually and so far really happy with them quiet drives great. All up with local mounting and balancing I have $876 in them versus Baur wanting $1687 for their cheaper tire, something goes wrong at that price I`ll just buy new tire.
Did some searching about Lionhart tires, Jags and Rolls are coming with them as a standard tire on their new vehicles.
How much is the tire shop gonna charge you to mount them and balance them vs buying them from the local tire place?

That’s don’t mean anything most vehicles come with cheap junk tires from the factory to save money

Most places charge like $30 or in that range. I know people who have gotten tires off tire rack, had them shipped to a tire place of their choosing and didnt pay an arm and a leg.

Virtually all of the main auto makers are going to come with a name brand tire. Those tire manufactures(Goodyear, Bridgestone, Michelin, ECT) pay big bucks(maybe not up front) to get the auto makers to put their tires on their vehicles. As many car owners will just put the same tire back on their vehicle, as they think that’s what the car came with, so I better just stick with that tire.

Ive got same model tire, but obviously something is different with them on my Sierra with 14,000 miles and they still look new.

Agree. In my experiences and what I’ve noticed is most tires that come on new vehicles don’t last worth a crap. And I’ve noticed it more with trucks

Your are correct, however all the brands mentioned have entry level tires and often those are the ones that come on the new car. Sometimes they do go with a better tire though, not sure how they decide.

Oh, I know, but I checked and the models are the same between our trucks because when he told me his tires were shot I was surprised and wanted to check.
