Traxstech question

  • #1589188

I am looking to purchase some Traxstech tracks, etc. Can anyone please tell me if they have had issues with the black colored
track showing scratches after some use? Or should I stay with the standard silver color?

    Thanks

I think if your worried about scratches you might just have to keep it in the shed.

The coating is really quite durable, but eventually it will show signs of use- scratches, screw marks from the accessory lock down screws, rub marks etc..

I have had the traxtech tracks on my Lund for years. I haven’t seen any ware and tear on them at all. They are not the black ones, but I can’t see why any other color would be any different. They are expensive, but they are worth it.

I’ve had a black track for one season now. It does show some scratches.

I also have the black tracks and show some wear and scratches. Most noticeable is marks from the hold down screws. Hasn’t bothered me at all though.
