Traxstech and Alumacraft

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has any experience with Traxstech rod trees and the alumacraft alumatrac system, specifically on the length of the track used and how it works for you? Thanks much

I have a crestliner with two 36” traxstech tracks, the tracks are mounted on down rigger plates that fit into the crestliner sure mount gunnel track. Works great because I can move my tracks around based on what we are fishing for and what techniques.

On my previous boat I had 8’ of traxstech on each side, probably overkill but I had the room! I had the rod trees as well. I found that I don’t do enough trolling with boards to need the trees so I sold those. I’ll never own another boat without some sort of track system similar to traxstech.
