Traveling with a Cabela's Automatic PFD

I recently got a Cabela’s Automatic Inflatable PFD. I am getting ready to head to MN for a short fishing trip and I am wondering if you can pack it in your carry-on with the Co2 cylinder. Just wondering if it is worth bringing for a weekender if I have to buy a Co2 cylinder and leave it behind.
