Get the Frabil Get the Frabil!!!!! The wife and I were chatting today with a fishing show on in the background and the wife says “Hi Dean”. I look over and there is Dean right by that annoying “get the Frabil” guy. Dean, buddy, why didn’t you do us all a favor and throw that guy off the dock while demonstrating to him how well a Richter works

say what you want about the G-mans schtick, he has made a pretty good living out of it doing what 99.9% of wish we could do full time…..and actually he is a very nice man in person!

    Gillispie is a HOOT!!!!!!
There isn’t another soul that has the same fishing personality as him, nor tries to copy it. Yet, we ALL watch that show, and drink Honey Weiss and eat Johnsonville brats, while getting the Frabil from Fleetfarm.

I’d have a blast fishing with him while having a few adult beverages.

Think of a cross between Pee Wee Herman and Jesse Ventura and you would be close

I turned the TV on right at the end of the show. I always DVR it, and then I can watch later without sound, or fast forward if it is a boring show. So, I flip the TV on, and the first thing I see is Dean munching a brat. I said “Hey, I know that guy”. Then I went to the store and bought brats.

Gillespie is actually a very cool guy in person. I met him some years ago on the Vermillion- he is an absolute riot. Reminds me of watching my 6 year old fish, but in the body of a grown man!
He did get schooled pretty good down there, though!

Congrats!!! Hows the pelts looking back that way? Most of the ones we shot so far out here have mange really bad. Took a double in a horse stable here in Colorado and both looked like shaved poodles with hairless tails

The pelts are looking good not real prime yet. But no mange on the ones I have seen.
