Wolf Trapping

    I don’t know if this is a mistake or not. I just noticed the trapping dates for wolf started Oct 15th and Coyote trapping starts the 20th? Seems odd that they would have started Wolf Trapping earlier than coyote as the yotes will visit a baited set for a wolf… A trapped coyote prior to the 20th would make it an incidental and need to be released by law

    Sorry, forgot to mention that I was looking at the WI regs! Good luck to those that have tags!

    No mistake… They have already addressed that it will be fixed next year.
    My dad says… if I catch a yote I’ll have to let it go and shoot it real quick! I’d like to see him try.
