Me and my friends have had a lot of free time lately with the ice being a little to sketchy, so we were thinking of something to do in the mean time and it occurred to us that maybe we should go out and try to snare us some rabbits. We have never done so and so we were wondering if first of all it is even legal and if so what kind of restrictions are there. Any advice would be nice too!

WI DNR : Size and Placement Restrictions:

    You may NOT:
    * set, place, or operate any snare regardless of the noose
size, unless one-half of the snare noose is located underwater at all times.
