I had fresh rodent tracks around my house so I set a perimeter trap line consisting of 4 pinch type traps. A damn gray squirrel got into one this afternoon and dragged it up to the nest!!! I don’t know if it was caught in the trap or just dragged it off to eat the peanut butter?? Ba$!#&* mrgreen

Back in the day my brother n I decided to trap all the “mice” out of dad’s garage. We must have set out a dozen traps. Over the next week our traps had all vanished. Finally found most of them that winter in the soffit with dead Chipmunks in almost all of em.
We always wondered if they got themselves up there to die, or if a weasel or something took them up there after they got trapped???

Lol. That’s funny. My dad uses rat traps on chipmunks, and he once sent me a picture of a bluejay that had gotten trapped.

I deal with mice in the house in the fall. Last year, I had a trap go missing, and try as I might, I couldn’t locate that trap. Eventually, it started stinking, so I sniffed it out. The mouse had gotten trapped by it’s rear paw and dragged the trap up by the condenser on the chest freezer in our basement.

    Mice or ???

At least they’re outside. I have a trail cam on a bird feeder, and it’s amazing how many photos of mice I get. Last week, I got photos of a cat stalking them. rotflol

Yes, mice. Brown with white undersides.
