Transum Vantage Mount

I’m thinking about adding a Vantage to my 1880MS. what mount and where do I get it?

can I do this myself?

This is interesting, my bud just picked up an 1880 and I’m curious to why you’d want a vantage back there.

back trollers will be back trollers I guess.

ran a tiller for many years and I can control the boat better from the back end.

still not convinced I will pull the trigger but want to see what the cost would be.

You’ll probably need to add a kicker mounting plate so the Vantage has something to clamp to.

I have a Vantage on my 1790 Skeeter.
Boat control is great and yes, back trolling or just slipping forward or back in current.
I like mine if I’d ever have time to use the boat!
No bracket on mine. Bolted or clamped to the transom. That’s sad. I don’t even recall which one.

I always used a panther mount back when I used them on non Warrior boats.
