    Glad I could bring a smile! Seriously though, nobody has ever demonstrated a valid downside to the wood block. And admittedly I use the MY wedge in the summertime, but wood block is the foolproof method year-round.

    There are two kinds of M-Y wedge. One that fits over the hydraulic piston and the other that snaps around the piston similar to the steering clips. I have this kind and it can get hard when it’s cold.
