Look for dark spots around any rivets or seams. It’s a sign that the wood is rotting.
The correct way to do the job is how jetro had it done. Complete glue up and sealing using west system epoxy.
Most aluminum boats that are over ten years old have bad transoms due to poor construction materials. Most manufactures have finally changed materials so we will see what new problems arise.
