I’m mounting a electric trolling motor on the transom. I’m looking for recommendations to protect the finish on the boat. I’d rather not drill any holes in the transom. Any thoughts appreciated..

most, if not all transom mount electric trolling motors are clamp on so drilling holes is not required. a piece of rubber under the mount should protect the paint
