Looking at getting the Helix 7 Gen3 Nav. I believe it comes with the XNT 9 HW MSI 150 ducer. I see online box dimensions for this transducer but I cant seem to locate a sense for how big the actual unit is. The length and width really matter for my application. Anyone run this and able to either give me exact dimnesions or even a general sense?

    Thanks

I have the Helix 7 G3 MSI which I believe is what you’re looking for.

    That is awesome! Thank you.

Any complaints? How does it perform at 30 / 40 mph?

Well seeing how I’m currently in a 14′ Alumacraft being pushed by a 5 horse can’t get any help past 11mph lol. But I have no complaints for it what so ever performing at those speeds. The MSI is super clear once you get your settings and speed down, I normally search at 3mph with screen speed set to 5 and out to 60′ either side.

Nice. I ended up with the Helix 7 as of today. I looked hard at the garmin and the lowrance lines too. I just think the bang for the buck in this range is hard to beat. High powered / high quality ducer and display. Small footprint. I hope its easy to set the ducer up the right way!

I have the suction cup stick on travel mount for my ducer, not sure what all the fuss is about as for setting it up correctly. I just slap it on and roll, never have any issues.
