This past summer I bought a 2014 Tyee 186 GL and I want to update the electronics, Garmin Echomap so GT56 transom transducer. Ideally I’d put a mounting plate on as well. But between the kicker, trailer bunks, straps and ladder I’m struggling to identify where it should/could be mounted. Does anyone have a similar set up that could share some pics? Obviously doesn’t need to be Garmin. Currently there’s a basic skimmer transducer (Lowrance) that is mounting inside and shooting through the hull. Any suggestions, pictures or ideas would be appreciated. I don’t have a picture to post right now. Thanks.
