My transducer mounting plate looks to have warped or somehow is not flush with the back of the boat. Will filling this crack as I did with silicone have any affect on interference with the transducer? Thanks for any help anyone can provide

No it wouldn’t affect the transducer. Did you just glue the board to the boat and not use any screws to hold it on? I have always put a couple screws in the boards and used silicone to hold them on.

It might affect the angle but that’s about it.

But yeah, bolt that baby on there!

You sure the board is warped and not early signs of a bad transom
