So I bought a new Garmin 93uhd. I have a gen3 HDS7 currently mounted at the console it has the LSS ducer and the normal 2d ducer. I will be getting rid of the bulky LSS ducer. My question is I am considering leaving the hds on the console and just adding the garmin next to it. Not sure if I will be able to see where I’m going. Other concern is can I put both ducers on the rear or will they interfere with each other? Anyone done this? Does one have to be on the other side of the motor? TIA

I believe the 2d Transducer is running at 200khz the new Garmin used much higher frequency. I actually just recieved my new Garmin 93 today. I am going to leave my older Humminbird on for the lake master maps. It only has a 2d transducer as well.

Thanks for the response. I searched online and most said they will most likely interfere with each other. I am capable of installing it myself but I think I’m goona have an outfitter do it for me and have them tell me what to do.
