Trailer lights

I just replaced my trailer lights and have a problem. With my old lights the left blinker and brake light didn’t work (I had cracked the light and assumed it was that). If I am driving during the day and my towing vehicle lights can be seen will I be legal? Both taillights work and the right brake and blinker.

If not how can I fix this quick. Obviously it is the yellow wire. I checked the connection from the boat and tested the car connection. Tried two different receivers on the boat with the same results. Super frustrated any help is greatly appreciated.

Check the wire coming from the vehicle itself to see if it’s live. Several ways of doing that, multimeter or a trailer light tester like this

Had the exact problem on Warrior trailer, tail lights worked, no brake lights, left blinker light dim but present. Stopped Wed. at Skeeter Boat Center to buy replacement, met Brandon. He said doubtful needs to be replaced. Said to take screwdriver to plug in from trailer and slightly pry the silver connector arms toward the center they apparently loosen from repeated on/offs (5 or 6 of them I think) than spray lightly with WD40 for corrosion, should be good to go. Try it. My Boats up North so have not tried yet.
