track mounted rod holder recommendations for WX2060

I had the rails removed and tracks installed on my 2018 WX2060 a few weeks ago before I picked it up from winter storage at SBC. I went with the 50″ Traxstech. Previously I ran Scotty rod holders on rail mounts. I plan to get a couple of the Traxstech plates for the Scotty’s, but was also looking at recommendations for other rod holders. On Facebook, Cisco’s were recommended. I am considering picking up a couple of their trees and possibly two of their rocket launcher style. Is there any other brands I should be looking at? Does anyone have any experience with the Cisco cradle style or any other brand of cradle style? Is their a staggered riser pattern that would be recommended. Predominately walleye fishing on Mille Lacs. so rarely more than four lines in the water at a time.

I just use the Traxstech tree’s and single’s. Mine not only swivel left to right, but pivot up and down. I have been real happy with them. Bought them at SBC. Very high quality.

Thanks guys. I will take a look at the Traxstech trees. My graphs are on Cisco mounts, which was another reason I was looking at the Cisco tubes. Same tilt/rotate mechanism on both which would please my OCD (which actually isn’t a big deal). I am really intrigued by the Cisco cradle holders though. Similar in function to the Scotty’s I had used, only the flexing, that at times has made me nervous, would be nonexistent.

Traxstech also makes cradle holders as well. I personally hate them in most cases. They excel if you want to point your rod tip toward the water but otherwise it’s a pain to get them out of the holder.

Tubes for me most of the time. I even use tubes with dipseys.

I’m not saying traxstech is better than Cisco, all the metal rod holders out there are really good. Just know you’ll be hard pressed to find any complaints against traxstech.

Thanks for the input everyone. I picked up a set of Traxstech triple trees and some adapter plates for my Scotty’s. That should be enough to get me started.

    Hello,

I have a question about the Traxstech option. Do you know if end cap come with the boat? Because I will receive my WX2200 in a short time and if they don’t come with the boat, I will order.

Mine did not come with the end caps. I will try the system out first and then decide if I want to order them. I can see the benefit, just not sure if it would be necessary for what I will be doing.
