Track Compatibility

I have some Cannon downrigger mounts that I’ve used with the Cannon tracks however, I’m getting a new boat and putting new tracks on it. Are all tracks created equal in that I can install Traxstech and continue to use the Cannon mounts? Or do I need to stick with the Cannon tracks on the new boat (or purchase new mounts to match the brand)? There are a lot more mount options for the other brands so I’d rather go with them vs. Cannons. TIA!

They will work. I have only seen a couple mounts that do not fit into the big names tracks but those are by mom n pop shops. All the big name companies are the same size so you can interchange.
