Couple of years ago there was a thread about toy haulers. Seemed mostly guys were hauling their 4 wheelers & Side by Sides.

Whats the opinions on them? Do they hold up pretty good? Downside of them? Upside? Tell me what you know please!

    Thank you.

I’ll be on my second toy hauler now. In my opinion, it is almost a must have with how popular wheelhouses are. Allows me to bring a snowmobile and fish in a portable away from the zoo. Just make sure you know how much weight your axle can handle. I have also never had issues with the ramp door being too cold like some complaints have mentioned.

I was a little surprised when I saw the post after seeing some of your comments on ice fishing lol

This is mine since late 2014. It hauls my atv, Indian Chieftain, 137” track Polaris snowmobile. It’s 6.5 c 14’. Once the toy is out it converts to a cozy RV. Tv, stove, radio, hot cold running water, bunk bed(s). Heat and ac. I power it with a 2000 watt inverter genny and unit can hook up to shore power, or run off its battery. I love this thing, will never sell it.

Bought an 09 Yetti 6.5×12′ new. I like it, but don’t love it. The axle can barely handle an ATV. Soon we will be replacing it with a 25-28′ toyhauler camper that will fit the SXS. If you have any sort of toy and you even remotely have thought about bringing it places when camping, you need a toyhauler. I really so no reason not to get one versus a standard camper unless you plan to live in it. And if that’s the case, get one with a real garage.

    I have a Yetti 6.5 X 14 2018 Traxx has brakes I like it..
Few things to look out for.
Door width and height to get machine in and out. With that I have a foldup couch which gets you maybe 60 inches wide machine to fit in even though door is 64 inches wide. I made a bracket so I can remove couch and then I put it into closets up front.. Atv fits with couch in but I have tracks so I have to take couch out … The door ramp door wood trim takes another inch of per side so your door width is actually 62 inches wide and height is 75 inches

If I did this all over I would get a 8X16 Yetti Traxx but I got this used and I making it work..
