Towing a Yetti out with an ATV Question

So, I purchased a 2019 T816-DK (which is a toy hauler) and it weighs 3950 pounds. My question is, can I tow it out with a 1993 Polaris 350 on Red lake without a trolly, or paying someone else to do it?

I’m leaning towards paying someone else to tow it out, due to not having chains on my tires anyways, so worried about traction, but thought I would ask the community.

I would have to say you are looking for a long day if you try unless conditions are perfect.

If your tongue weight is over 200 lbs I would not attempt it. Also if the wind picks up you will have a hard time moving 4000 lbs around.

Going to need to get some rear suspension block, to prevent it from bottoming out.

What about if I had a trolly .. might be able to borrow one?

Sometimes peace of mind is worth more than what you paid for it.

I would recommend getting chains and using a trolly or just pay someone to tow it out for you. When the ice is so slippery things can go bad fast.

Chains and a dolly and you’d be fine. If that’s too much hastle, I’m sure someone would be willing to help you get it out there.

Blocks like some one else said.
And no doubt tire chains 100 percent. Otherwise good luck if you go through any snow patch. Which they are everywhere. I struggled pulling my snowmobile trailer last weekend through snow patches with no chains

Chains are a must. If independent rear suspension then blocks also. On the flat you’ll be good, but any uphill ramp and you’ll dig and spin. What is your highway tow vehicle?

Yeah, I think I am going to arrange someone to bring it out, as I do not have chains either.

Highway tow vehicle is a 2012 Silverado 1500.. the Yetti actually tows better on the highway than my zachshack because it has a v-front.

No worries, it was a much heavier Ice Castle. Yeti’s float! ZSG I sell receiver hitch dollys that work well in these glare ice conditions with chains. Let me know if your interested.

I seen video of them getting it out. It actually went quite smooth. Couple ATV’s with winches and a come along looked like to me. Drilled holes and anchored off the atvs.

Yeah, I upgraded this year, kind of big time. However I still have the Zach Shack (6 years now I think). The Zach Shack is a great house to fish out of, but for overnight trips, it sure is nice having a bed, oven, microwave, etc.

    Any new name suggestions?

Wouldn’t matter…….the wall wouldn’t apply to them. It’s meant for everybody else.
