I don’t know who won it but I heard big fish was less than 5 pounds so that tells you it was rough fishing. There were several people with cameras so I thought there might be pictures up this morning. We only got one 18″ and lost one nice one so we didn’t even weigh. As is always the case someone got them to bite and I saw several nice 5 fish limits come in. We went back out after weigh-in and ended up getting rained off the river about 7. Man, talk about a cold rain. The bite did pick up alittle for us in the evening though.

I don’t have the names. Steve Vick may post them when he gets a chance. 15 1/4 lbs won it, 11 lbs tied for 2nd and 3rd and 10 something for 4th.

Redneck is right in that it was a tuff bite and a lot of guys with fish did not weigh in because they were not close to 10 lbs. Still a fun day on open water. The evening bite was a lot better – of course!

Here are a few shots I snapped.

After fishing Jan. and Feb. it was pretty nice out yesterday. The fingers got cold a time or two but other than that it was fine as long as you dressed properly. I will say that running back to the landing in the rain last night was COLD.

Congrats to Terry Fischbach and Jeremy Evans for a nice 15.25 weight at the FYB and taking home the title. Attached are of few of the pictures of their fish including the big fish of the tourney caught by Jeremy.

Also pictured is Adam Fischbach, my partner, as we but up 7.4 lbs. A bit disappointing while watching his big bro ripping up the top place weight.

A fun tourney, Looking forward to the IDA tourney in March!

Had to get his ugly mug under 100 kb. Not an easy task so I had to wait to get on my high power computer at work.

    Here it is.

THANKS JOHN FOR THE TIP! IT WILL MAKE MY POSTING MUCH EASIER IN THE FUTURE!

Wow — not only are you right about that but I see his fish holdin’ while picture takin’ skills need some work too!

Ya well, I had to crop the heck out of the picture to get it under the 100kb limit.

    Jickey,
Adam wants to know where your pictures of fish are from the weekend such that we can critique your photographic flare!

Instead of cropping it… Next time just resize it. The same software you used to crop it should have a stretch/skew option that will shrink your photo.

    just an idea…

Brian had the top 5 there…..There were a total of 31 boats. 11 of the boats had 8 lbs or better.

Ben thanks for posting the pics! Congrats guys on your win. Just wondering if you would care to share any info on baits and depths that help put the winning basket of fish in the boat?

Congrats guys. I got there and Jon J. was snapping pics so I left my camera in my pocket and was even told that the results were already going to be taken care of so I got to shoot the breeze with alot of friends I hadn’t seen all winter. Was great to see people out fishing, having fun, and some nice fish too. Congrats to all who fished. Thanks, Bill

My camera broke. I borrowed it to River Eyes… I mean they’re not back from being developed. Wait! I know — my partner forgot to take the lens cover off. Yup that’s the ticket!
