    This is the 1st annual tournament and includes Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass. Please send me a message or write if you have any questions.

    Rules & Regulations:
    SRSC Bass Tournament Rules
    1. Tournament fee is $110 per boat. Entry fee must be paid by 7:00 a.m. morning of the tournament.
    2. All entrants must wear a coast guard approved life vest or preserver when the main motor is running.
    3. Tournament will be scheduled rain or shine.
    4. All fishing must be done from a boat. Each boat must consist of 2 anglers.
    5. Each angler is responsible for understanding all rules of safety and sportsmanship.
    6. Only (5) fish per boat will be weighed.
    7. Fishing is permitted on the Mississippi River from Sartell Dam to Blanchard Dam (Royalton). There is no fishing allowed on any connecting or accessible waters off the main flowage of the Mississippi River. If you have any questions, please address them before the start of the tournament.
    8. No fishing is allowed in the morning before the start of the tournament.
    9. Tournament is for Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass only.
    10. Only artificial lures will be permitted (no live bait allowed). Trolling as a method of fishing is prohibited.
    11. All fish must be a minimum of 12” in length (closed mouth). Short fish will not be weighed in total weight and cannot be replaced… even if it’s by accident.
    12. All live wells will be checked before the start of the tournament.
    13. There is a .5 lb weight deduction for each dead fish that is weighed in. (includes big bass)
    14. Depending on # of boats there will be a single file “take-off” that begins at 7:30 a.m. in order of boat # or a group announced “take-off”.
    15. All participants must check in by 7:15 a.m. before “take-off
    16. All participants must be checked in by 3:30 p.m. sharp for “weigh-in” There will be a 1 lb penalty for each minute late. 5 minutes late will disqualify the team. No exceptions.
    17. Winners are determined by overall weight. In the event of a tie the money will be split evenly between both teams involved.
    18. Each team member must have a valid MN fishing license.
    19. Payout is as follows: (1) payout per 5 participating boats. Per MN tournament regulations there is a 50 boat maximum for this tournament. Big Bass is paid out at $5 per boat and is included in the Entry fee.
    20. Any breach of the above rules will result in automatic disqualification. All interpretation of the above rules is subject to the Sauk Rapids Sportsmen’s Club Bass Fishing Tournament Committee. All decisions by the Tournament Committee are final.
    21. Any occurrence not covered by the rules will be governed by the tournament directors.
    “Take-Off” & “Weigh-In” Info:
    Location: Sand Bar Island
    From the Benton County Landing proceed North on the Mississippi River for 8 miles. From the Stearns County Park Landing proceed 1.5-2 miles south and from the St. Stephens Lions Club Park Landing head .25 miles south.
