This is a fund raising event for the Alma Youth Foundation. All proceeds help fund community youth activities. Your fishing support is appreciated.

Don’t take this the wrong way because I’m all about supporting the youth of america and I’m also all about a well run tourney. But you might get a better turnout if there is a higher percentage payout for each tourney.

Thanks for your thoughts. There’s no doubt that participants are more appreciative of higher percent payout tournaments. However, we hope anglers will see the benefits of putting a small percentage of each entry toward a no-entry fee championship. In addition, the championship has a $1,000 guaranteed first place prize. Simple math brings the overall payout to near 90%.
