I’d like to pick 1 or 2 BASS or FLW tourneys to try to fish on the AM side this next summer. I’ve done a little looking around on both sites but really have not found out much Info. Has anyone here fished any of these tourneys in the last few years? Just curious as to your thoughts on the experience. If anyone is going to be fishing any events this year and would like someone to travel and share expense’s with fell free to PM me. I would really like to fish one on Erie if possible. Fishing for those huge smallmouths sounds like a lot of fun to me.

WOW !!! This must be comming from a fisherman that fishes for those other fish. You know the ones that do like to spend their lifes swimming around with rough fish. I don’t know many bass fishermen who catch carp, Cats, suckers, Bullheads, Ect. While fishing. But I sure do know of a few walleye fishermen who do.

Wouldn’t ya love to see a walleye tournment that didn’t allow live bait or trolling? Or even drifting. I bet that would limit the “pro’s”. Maybe the Dnr should implement this idea. Maybe they wouldn’t need to put slots on them rock carp.

Are you looking at the BASS Opens vs FLW Tour?

I’m just looking for peoples thoughts on both. I don’t have a preference of one versus the other. I just thought picking a event at a out of state tourney would be fun and give me something to look forward to this next season.

Did anyone fit your description? I’ve always wanted to fish Erie myself. Perhaps we could team up and help each other out with the expenses.
