Upper Mississippi Fishing Club

Many teams and walleye fishermen have expressed interest in forming a upper Miss (walleye)tournament club since most of the Major Walleye series have left the Mississippi this year or existing ones have substantially increased their entries. General format will be $150-200 per team,100% payback, pools 3-10. 5-6.. 2-day weekend tourneys. Run by the members. Tourney directors are drawn each tourney and that team will do the weigh-ins and inspections. There will be many of us around that will help out so don’t avoid the series just because you might have to do the Director job. Looking for imput and interest. I HAVE TRIED HARD TO AVOID CONFLICTING DATES HERE..PLEASE E-MAIL ME IF THERE ARE ANY MAJOR ONES, ALTHOUGH THERE ARE CONFLICTS ON NEARLY ALL THE OTHER WEEKENDS.

Great idea but how about one day Sunday tourneys most of us are spent on vacation and this would allow at least one day of pre fishing. You might also consider a 100 dollar entry to entice a few more entrys

Several had mentioned Sat. being one tourney and Sunday a second. But along with that there was a feeling that you would have to enter both so that both days we decent fields. Also the sharing the Directors jobs is intended to make the 100% payback work, but hey I was just asked to feel things out so we could determine if there was even more interest than we had already had. It’s not my series

it’s a club. I have been contacted that another group is already planning several more club type walleye tourneys down this way so maybe this deal won’t even be necessary.
