I would like your comments if you fished the GNWC circuit last year. Thanks.

    Morning Don,

I fished the MN circuit last summer. I got my butt kicked, but at least I showed up. It was a fun circuit, with a good group of fisherman. The main reason I fished, it allowed me to still fish a tourney without depleting my vacation time. Sunday nights kind of stunk after the tournies, but I’ll take being tired any day if it was because of fishing. Send me a PM if you have specific questions. All in all, I though Bernie did a great job!! I hope he gets more boats this year in the MN circuit.

Thanks, I was just looking for an overall view. Are you going to fish it this year again?

I don’t know yet. I haven’t decided where my tourney dollars are going to be spent this year. I’m sure I’ll do Pool 4 again. We are going to be finishing our basement this summer, so I’m not sure the finance department is going to be giving out many funds for tournies this summer.

    Hey guys

I’ve never heard of the GNWC. Can you tell me more about it? Do they have a website.
    Thanks

Don,I fished the Iowa side of the GNWC last year.It was alot of fun.I think Bernie does a good job on these tourneys.I guess my only gripe would be the weigh-ins at some of the tourneys.I think it is a great starter and family/friend circuit. My guess is you’ll be on some very good walleye waters in MN.Best of luck Don if you fish it.

I am 15 years old and really interested in fishing walleye tournaments in the future. What would any of you guys recommend I do to better prepare myself for tournament fishing? Any answers would be awesome.

Calling me sir is kinda like putting a tuxedo on a hog. It just doesn’t fit. LOL
