The Silverado Pro/Am has added 10 boats this year and states that they are paying out over 100%, $10,000 for first place and with the extra enteries they are paying down to the 12th place.

What they are not telling you is that on the non-boater side it is under 80% payout. A close friend of mine called the tournament director the other day and confronted him about this and said that this was not fair. The Director commented that the non-boaters should look at this like a guide trip with a chance to win some money.

I fished as a non-boater for 5 years and as a boater for the past 2 years and this really pisses me off. You are asking to put low quality non-boaters in the boat with you when there is $10,000 on the line and they are going to knock the fish with the net or not trust them to do something in the boat. I look as the non-boater as a partner in shared bag tournaments and I do expect more money cause I pay more money in entry fees, the expence of the boat, and the time spent pre-fishing. This seem disrespectful to me.

I think I have madeup my mind to the BASS Weekend series and not the Silverado this year!!!
