Anyone fishing this event? I fished it last year and got my butt kicked fishing, but had a blast. Lots of good food, drink, and people.

Sioux City Missouri River Bass Tourney

I’m not fishing the tourney but this is my neck of the woods so if I can help anyone with any questions about the area let me know. My father has a small cabin on the Missouri about 20 miles down stream from the Gavin’s Point Dam and we have fished the river our whole lives. I would give this warning to all anglers. The River is DOWN! Use caution. The Army Corps of engineers has been court-ordered to drop the water levels this week. This has dropped her sigificantly already. Lots of sandbars to look out for. Good luck to every one in the tourney!
