Fountain City Tournament

Fountain City Rod and Gun will be holding there Annual Team Bass and Walleye Tournament August 9th. The entry fee is $50.00 per division and you must declare which division you will fish. There is a big fish entry aslo per division which is optional, this is $10.00. Last year for the Walleye division there were 14 boats entered and payout was 1st $400, 2nd $200, 3rd $135, 4th $75, and 5th $50. Big fish was $130. For the Bass there were 43 boats entered and the payout for this was 1st $900, 2nd $700, 3rd $400, 4th $200, and 5th $132.Big fish was $410. Tournament start time is 6:30 a.m. and weigh in starts at 3 p.m., with pre- tournament meeting starting at 6 a.m. that morning. Cabelas in Owatonna, Hooked On Fishing Bait and Tackle on hwy 63 north in Rochester. In Red Wing go to 4 Seasons Bait and Tackle and West End Sports Boat Dealership next to 4 Seasons. In Lake City go to Smitty’s Marine and the Conoco Gas Station. In Wabasha there is a bait store about a block or so from Main St. Its in an alley between Kwik Trip and Main St. There also is a Bait Shop in Kellogg too. Hope this helps. Thanks, Bill
