I am fishing my first fishing tournament this weekend. My brother and I have fished the lake a couple times, so we decided to give the tournament a try. The tournament is on Green Lake near Spicer, MN. My only worry is that my brother and I will get in a fight out in the boat over where and how to fish because we both think we are right all of the time. Any advice on fishing tournaments would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Lets say its an eight hour tournament. You each have control of the boat and way to fish for four hours. You can flip a coin as to who is in charge first. If one of you is on better fish then it may be wise to go there first and maybe even stay with that game plan but you each have the option to stick with the other guys plans if they are working good or spend the second half of the tournament on your fish. Just don’t get caught up in the ego thing and spend half the day on your spots if his are much better. Remember you are a team so do whats best for the team. Good luck and let us know how you did. Thanks, Bill
